Tiered Midi Dress

I got a medium as my usual size. Wrong call here, suggest you size down if you really want to try to make work. This dress is supposed to be flowy, but it billowed massively in the upper portion. The torso length was tremendously long and wide, so the shoulders bagged with 3 inches too long, and the bust gapped into a square shape with extra 5 inches of material width wise. I am a 34DD so not small chested, and think you d need F or G boobs in pushup bra to fill out this much material. I knew the seam on the butt was kinda off from the pics, but wow not flattering on my bubble butt. I tried this in the citrus yellow abd the color was pretty, but I'm not motivated to see if a small would work. It's def going back.

The fuschia color is gorgeous! I love the dress. It’s comfortable and can be casual or dressed up. I have a large chest (DD) , 5’3”, 150 lbs and this dress was big on me. My aunt took up the top of the shoulder area for me. A small chested person would struggle with this dress . Really cute now that it’s altered. (I’m also short which played a role, but the chest was very roomy).

I wanted to love this dress because the style is easy and cute, the colors are vibrant, and I love that it has pockets. Sadly, this dress runs HUGE. I ordered the small and it fits like a large - maybe even an XL. For context on the fit, I’m usually a size 4, 120lbs and wear a 32DD. I’m currently 9 months pregnant, so I’m 145 lbs and wearing a 32G/34G. And the small was still massive on me! It’s too big to even be a maternity dress. The waistband is way too wide and the top has so much extra fabric that it hangs excessively even though I’ve gone up two cup sizes. It’s so sad that it fits nothing like the pictures. It would need a lot of alterations to get it there.
