Knit Shell Top

First the negatives -- the material is not high quality -- it feels like plastic straw, not the high quality "linen" you expect. Also it is not your typical oversized Max Studio top. If you want the "draping" effect, you have to go up a size or two. I am typically an XS in Max Studio. I ordered an XS this time. it is rather fitted, not having the draping effect. Also I have an extremely short torso, and this top is a little short even for me. The positives -- just like other Max Studio, the cut is flattering. I don't know what's the secret, but Max Studio knows how to make a piece of clothing flattering to the body. So despite the negatives, I will order a size or two larger and I will keep it. I think this would be one of the "go to" pieces you throw on under a blazer, a jacket, over jeans, etc. Lastly for your reference -- size XS pit to pit is 16.5, length (from highest point of shoulder to hem) is 20.5 in the front, 21 in the back (it is a little high-lo). Cheerio, ladies :)

The fabric is nice quality and color but the cut is a bit frumpy. It’s priced appropriately for what it is. I’m hoping it will look cute under a jacket.

Way to short . This is not sold as a crop top, it’s a two piece knit set but the shell is way to short

Love this top. I recently paired it with a pair of white jeans for a lunch date and my friend raved about how summery I looked.

This is a beautiful textured knit sweater. The drawback is that the armholes are cut too deep - the come down to almost 1/3 of the short top. If you are uncomfortable with your bra showing, pass on this style.

This sweater vest is very comfortable and it was a great price.

I like the red so much I bought it in yellow after. It's lightweight and great to dress up a more casual fit. Fit is true to size

Comfortable but lackluster both in color and shape.

I bought this in store, this top grew on me and is super comfortable. I sized up to a large, normally medium and it drapes nicely. Cool for New Orleans weather. Bought four.

Ripped after less than 5 wears.

Super Cute and Lightweight Top, Good Quality, Fits true to size

Good material and nice to touch, good shape overall except under arm area, way too open. but I decide to keep it due to materials and neck shape and color.
