Coast to Coast Smocked Waist Organic Cotton Maxi Dress

When you order any item of Faherty Brand clothing it's like a box of chocolates. You NEVER know what size you are going to get (no matter what the size label says). I ordered this dress in size XXS in both the honey mustard color and in navy. The honey mustard dress fit true to size in both top and bottom, and looked pretty much like what is depicted online. The navy dress, also supposedly XXS, fit OK at the top but the bottom was absolutely voluminous -- way too much fabric and it was a couple inches longer. Looked ridiculous. I have found gross sizing inconsistency to be an across the board problem with every item of Faherty Brand clothing I have ever purchased. This results in a lot of ill-fitting garments that I then have to pay to return. I will probably keep the honey mustard version of this smocked waist Maxi dress but the navy one I will have to return because of the ludicrous mismatched sizing, i.e. TTS top of dress, ennormous skirt. Faherty Brand clothing continues to be high priced but the quality fade issues are glaring.
