Claribel Faux Shearling Lined Slipper (Women)

These are super cute and comfy. Only one problem. The right shoe is at least a half size larger than the left. I ordered the same shoe, same size in a different color and it worked. I don't know why Vionic hasn't fixed the extreme sizing inconsistencies with their brand. I only wear Vionics but it's always torture trying to get a new pair.

I have Vionic slippers from years ago that I’ve been desperately waiting for them to come back with as they were the most supportive, comfortable and well made slippers in history. Unfortunately, the material of the toes started wearing off, so I’ve been wanting another pair for years, but they haven’t made them available again. At least not the exact same ones. These came out and look CLOSE, so when they went on sale I purchased them. The positive. They look great, they’re well made and they’re definitely better than most slippers you’ll find out there. They’re sleeker than the old version, but I’ll take function if it looks half way decent and keeps my feet and body feeling amazing, so the the old version was fine. The bottoms don’t have the little cracks that the old ones(and other slippers) have, that stuff gets stuck in and you have you find some tool to dig it out with or toothbrush to scrub it with. The negatives. They’re not up to the Vionic insole standards I expect and DEFINITELY not the same as the old version. The sole is too thin and the arch isn’t high enough. My feet hurt after an hour, and that’s a huge let down. If you are looking for slippers you’ll be wearing a lot, either all day at home or even all night walking around your house, you’ll probably just need to go ahead and invest in a house shoe, unfortunately. I hope Vionic does better next time and brings back the old, sturdy version with the solid sole. These are 100% not worth the full price, and still expensive at the sale price. I’d pay for the old ones though. You can’t find slippers like that. I’ve tried. I’d still recommend these as slippers if it’s just quick on an off wearing or someone not concerned about support, because it is a nice slipper. So maybe a great gift. Those shopping for Vionics though are looking for support.
