Ellen Wedge Slide Sandal (Women)

The shoes are definitely cute and, generally, well made. There is *no* padding on the underside of the toe strap. There should be to keep the edges from rubbing. I would discourage these shoes if, like me, the front part of your foot is on the wider side. As is usual with cute women's shoes, they're narrow. I work a desk job so I wasn't walking/on my feet all day but these *killed* my feet. They were so sore that they kept me up last night! If you are comfortable in all standard width shoes, you'll be fine although, as previously stated, the strap over the toe could use some padding.

The Ellen wedge is sophisticated and easy to wear. A tad narrow, so if you’re in between due to wideness go a half size. I could’ve gone a 9.5 but I know that at one point those would hurt. Got a. 10. The height is great and the design is classic and elegant. Can be used for both fun or business casual.

Because these were in the sale rack, I wore one around for a bit then decided to ask for the other shoe which I continued to wear around the shoe department while my daughter continued to shoe shop. At first, I walked away because I decided that even though they are comfortable for this size heal, they were expensive even on sale. But I loved the elegant look and the nice quality of the materials, so I went back, bought them and wore them out of the store. I hope Veronica Beard offers these in more colors and textiles because after wearing for a few days, I do not regret this purchase.
