Proportions off for hips
Very cute look but overly slim in the hips. The material does not have any give. Going up a size to fit the hips does not work because the arm holes and bust area will be too big.

cute, easy, flattering dress
Loved this navy dress! Bought it for my family vacation to Italy and wore it all the time- during days w tennies and at night w heels. Top is finely ribbed cotton tank attached at bottom to mid length skirt. Belted tie optional but nice to pull it together

Great for the tall and long-waisted
I am 5'4", and the dress bunches up noticeably around the waist, making the side zipper stick out strangely. The skirt material, unlike the bodice, has zero stretch. It fit snugly on my hips, making it impossible to pull it down. It just sticks there and causes the top to bunch up with a blouson effect instead of laying flat. The dress is otherwise wonderful - lightweight and fun. It just needs someone taller with narrower hips and a longer waist. But I find this to be the case with many VB dresses. I ordered this in my normal size small. Going up a size would only make the problem worse.
