This is the a really nice sweatshirt, I didn’t realize that it had the pleat in the back until I received it, what a lovely detail, a elegant detail actually, it’s worth every penny!

Pilling after 1 wash
I purchased this in-store after feeling the fabric, which seemed so soft and luxurious. Unfortunately the fabric is already showing major signs of wear after 1 wash. I purchased this just a few days ago and the sweatshirt and matching shorts are pilling, snagged, and look to be very worn. The quality of this fabric is poor, would not recommend especially considering the price tag.

Not worth the money for a polyester sweatshirt
I purchased the dusk blue, unavailable now. It was my first Spanx clothing purchase, having seen everyone go crazy for air essentials. Yes, it’s soft. After only a couple washes, it’s pilling like a cheap garment (Washed per instructions). It also pulls easily. I wore a coat with the tiniest bit of Velcro and got a pull-this expensive sweatshirt is relegated to household chores now. Also, polyester doesn’t breathe so it runs hot. If you’re OK with all of these characteristics, keep buying Spanx air essentials. I think it’s an overhyped material that doesn’t last.

As per usual, my gripe with Spanx tops is they need an inch or two more in length. Otherwise, good slightly oversized fit with the illustrious supremely soft air essentials fabric. Love the dusty blue color. Perfection would be just slightly longer.
