Solimar Running Shoe (Women)

I bought some holes for my daughter for Xmas. Yeah they were on sale. But it’s Nordstrom. I got the shoes but not in a Hoka box but in a generic box. You can’t sell shoes as new if they aren’t in the original box. Nordstrom is starting to suck too. It’s a gift and part of gifting is presentation. It’s like a goodwill gift at this point.

I searched and searched for a low profile, comfortable sneaker that would give me support for walking in Rome. I thought my Hoka running shoes were too bulky and not fashionable enough. Then I discovered these lightweight sneakers. I personally would not run in them, but they are incredible for walking and shopping. Hoka gets my vote!

Purchased the white Solimar for an upcoming cruise trip and amusement parks. Started to wear the shoes to break them in. I find that they don’t need much breaking. They are very lightweight and comfortable. There’s a removable memory foam padding. I think I’ll be able to walk all day in these shoes. My only concern is that the fabric seems to get dirty quick. I find myself constantly making sure that I’m not walking on muddy tracks. I sprayed it with Scothguard. For the price, I wish they treated the fabric to prevent it from getting so dirty quickly. I hope everything stays in tact as it looks stitched together but not the best fabric.
