Sheer Control Top Tights

I loved the old Nordstrom Rack pantyhose. I was sad to see they are no longer available. Since the closest store is 45 minutes away, I bought several pairs while I was there hoping for the best. They are awful. They do not stay up. I have to keep tugging at them, and they are constantly sliding down my hips. No matter what I wear under them (e.g., cotton vs a more slippery fabric), they still slide down. I don't understand why they no longer carry a good product and substituted this inferior product. I threw all of them away. Very disappointed.

When I wear Shimera Everyday Sheer pantyhose, people cannot see them. They are invisible except for when they shine in certain lighting situations. They make my legs look very pretty! The fabric is soft and it feels great. Pale Beige color matches my skin excellently. It appears that they have stopped producing this color. The only negative is that the control top does not stay in place as well as some other hosiery. The crotch stays in place for me, but the waistband creeps downward. I am 6'2". I wear Size Plus. I do not think these would fit me if I were any taller. I love this brand! If I could find a steady source for these, I would stop buying other brands.

I recently decided to upgrade my pantyhose game and came across these in Nordstrom Rack. I love the soft nude! I am so pale that I am borderline translucent and this color was perfect to even out my tone without making me look like I am trying to be tan. I felt that these were perfectly sheer so as to not be super noticeable and offered just the right amount of support - they weren't super tight to my skin like some brands "active support" tends to be, and they were baggy around the knees and ankles either. My only complaint is that I carry my weight in my thighs and the control top of these squeezes in at the thigh where it meets the sheer leg of the hose. Going up a size would probably result in too baggy hose, and I mostly wear A-line dresses to where that squeezing is not noticeable on the outside and doesn't really bother me once I have worn them a few minutes. If you carry your weight in your thighs (pear shape) and if you like to wear skin tight slinky outfits that also are tight on your thighs, then these may not be for you as the squeezing might be noticeable in an outfit like that. I work in a casual dress code office but I like to wear dresses and I like to wear hose most of the year because I am so pale, don't always shave my legs, and it can get cold in the office - not too mention, bare legs in the workplace make me feel a bit "exposed" to my coworkers! I guess I am conservative in that respect. These were perfect because they aren't super noticeable so I don't come across as too formal for my office, but they make me feel a little less "exposed." I am going to buy a few more pairs until I come across something better that is so reasonable for the price.
