Kids' Mini Penny Boot

My reflected stars are more so towards customer service. I received the boots and they were beautifully packaged and overall looked very nice for a little girl. Unfortunately they were damaged, so I called customer service, stayed on the phone for about 30 mins trying to get a replacement sent. I shared photos of the damage, and the representative told me she got clearance as a one time curtesy to refund the shoes since there was not a replacement available. 15 more mins go by and she tells me because I purchased through Nordstrom rack ( not new info) that the only thing I could do was return it, but wouldn’t get a refund on the shipping ($10) I paid to receive a damaged item. The boots are nice enough, not great, but customer service gets a thumbs down.

I’m a big fan of Sam Edelman and was shocked when I opened the box. I had to do a double take because I couldn’t believe they were Sam Edelman. The soles are a gross plastic and the glue was applied sloppily. The leather was very cheap, thin and curled at the top. The color was not rich brown- it’s more of a dark tan. Just eww.

I am absolutely ecstatic I stumbled upon these at Nordstrom Rack in my size! 💖 How lucky was I? These are comfortable, durable, and gorgeous looking with skirt, dress, or jeans. With all the recent rain I could not have found them at a better time! Wish there was a second pair, too, I would have bought that as well. I LOVE Sam Edelman shoes, sandals, boots 👢 - have been a long time fan - all the way back to the Sam Edelman days..., I know that just dated me but that should validate that I truly do love these boots! Uncomfortable! I'm a petite 58 year old and I wear a child size 1 shoe. I cringed at $100 but thought they may be well made. I wore these to work where I set at a desk. They do look cute with tights and a dress. I tried them on and decided to keep them. But, they are not comfortable enough to wear for an entire day. I'm used to wearing heels. I consider these a flat. I would not buy again. Very disappointed in the quality. I wished that I would have returned them before wearing.
