Aubrey Floral One-Shoulder Satin Crepe Mermaid Gown

This is a beautiful, well-made and comfortable dress! It runs true to size in the top, but the hips were quite roomy and would require altering for me (that's why the model is posed as such). Would need to get hemmed as well but could wear high heels and get away with it (I'm 5'6", 125 pounds and ordered a size 2. ) The reason I'm returning it is the placement of the flowers at the top of the dress....there's not enough of the floral pattern and too much black fabric at the top of the dress that was shipped to me. Not a design flaw, it's just how this beautiful fabric was cut. I would have kept it to wear to a formal wedding, but it just wasn't right for the Mother of the Bride dress for me.

I wanted a mother of the bride dress that wasn't covered in sequins and lace. My daughter approved! This dress is elegant and fits true to my normal dress size. The bow will need a little tacking to make it stay as shown in the picture by otherwise I'm happy with the dress. I do agree that the dress is slightly overpriced for its simplicity but I found very few other dresses (after multiple bridal store appointments) that didn't make me feel like a 70 yr old matron.
