Elastic Gussets on Shoes
Neither the dune, nor black shoes on the Nordy website include the black elastic gussets. Was this done by Ron White or Nordstrom? The gussets are built into the shoe between the tongue and the side and are very visible. Several customers have been disappointed. The elastic on the dune loafers makes it appear that I'm wearing a black footie liner, that is too high on the foot for the loafer. I exchanged the dune last night for black and hope it is less noticeable. New pair hasn't arrived yet. The shoes are beautiful and I was excited to see them included in the Anniversary Sale.

Comfortable shoes
These shoes are well made and very comfortable, but they did not show the black elastic. I can't get past it, I don't know why they wouldn't use the same color as the shoe. May not show up as much with the black shoe but it sure does with the dune color 😞 they are sadly going back.

Runs small
Shoe looks very nice in the black but runs small and narrow. No way I could add a sock and since it is a winter shoe, it is being returned. Disappointed no more larger sizes are available. Will wait for the returns to arrive.....
My other RW shoes fit true to size so disappointed.

not as pictured
There is a very important detail on these shoes that is not on the photo - a black strap on either side of the upper part of the shoe. It’s visible. Might not be an issue with the black pair but it is with dune. Definitely going back.
