Versatile Bag
I took this bag as on a multi-country trip. Turned out my airline only let me have a backpack or a roller bag in the plane, so I was able to change it tote a tote without any problems. While was out on day trips it was a comfortable pack.

A pretty bag to look at with pretty awful design
I bought this bag a few months ago and realized immediately there were design issues. I should have returned it. The good: it is comfortable to carry as both tote and backpack. Front pockets are good. The bad: This bag tips over every time it tries to sit on the floor which is not surprising given that the base is not flat. This seems like a design 101 lesson. Fortunately in tips forward so when you have a computer which is not surprising given that the base is not flat. Fortunately, it tips forward so when you have a computer or an iPad in the back it does not break it. But you literally cannot sit at the bank on its own base without a tipping. Another major fail is the open pocket that you use to put over a suitcase handle gets very easily confused with the back pocket. The back pocket has issues of it's own because it has two holes in the bottom for the backpack straps to slide through and if you put anything small in it likely that will end up on the floor. If you forget to check when loading that pocket it is easy to put things in the suitcase part and lose items forever. Other companies use zippers to close the suitcase attachment. The main pocket is fine - some additional pockets to hold pens and small items would have been a nice touch. The front 2 pockets are great. Well placed and functional. I added a couple caribeaners do I could attach quick items - dog water bowl, a mask etc. A well though out bag would have included attachments. But the unforgivable is the water bottle pockets that have dumped out my bottles (in varying sizes) all over town and country. This is so badly designed I find myself wondering if they do prototypes, do they test their gear? I find the wandering prices on Isprey gear exhausting too. I have learned one should never pay full price as there will be a sale soon. I wonder how many customer they lose because they are waiting to buy a product and find something better while they wait.

Love it, all the pockets,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it, all the pockets, size and color, I got the yellow and it's not crazy yellow which i like. I really like the backpack straps, slim and comfortable, not bulky and stiff. I wanted it for its tote straps which are great and hands. The water/umbrella pockets are also really spacious.

This bag is perfect as
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is perfect as a personal item as you can carry as a tote when using a carryon backpack such as Farpoint. Also great as a non bulky daypack for use on a trip once you arrive at your destination.

I love this pack. The
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pack. The entire reason I was drawn to it was the fact that it could be either a backpack or transform to a tote when needed. I absolutely love the amount of space it has and the seperate compartments as well as the front zipper pocket. I use it pretty much for everything: day trips, class, or just every day carrying things to and from somewhere. You won’t regret this one.

Bought this as a gift
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as a gift for my wife, to try and organize her travel and get away from constant rummaging around in a sack. The versatility is excellent, the compartmentalization makes sense and...most importantly for her, there are TWO water bottle sleeves which both fit a larger, longer receptacle securely. The luggage attachment was an added bonus, and after only one trip we already know this pack will be the newest travel staple in our rotation!

I've been using my Daylite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Daylite totepack for about two months now and it's working well for my needs (work bag for university teaching). Before, I was using a ~25L Pacsafe backpack that felt like too much bag for what I typically carry. I like the Daylite's streamlined appearance (other than dangling straps), robust enough backpack straps, sternum strap, long enough tote handles to carry on your shoulder, and zippered outer pocket. It's also pretty quick to convert between the backpack and tote setups.
I wish it had a bigger key attachment on a longer "leash." The little red one is on a very short strap, so you can't pull it out of the bag--you have to reach inside the bag to clip keys onto it. That's especially awkward since the clip itself is so small and the plastic doesn't seem very sturdy. As I switch back and forth between my home and office keys at least twice per day, that's not very convenient. Lastly, a keychain weighs down the divider between the laptop compartment and the rest of the bag, so it's difficult to reach into the main part of the bag when keys are attached. Secondly, the wave blue turned out to be significantly lighter than I was expecting based on the picture on the website.
