- Clean your bag thoroughly before storing it. Use a damp cloth for the exterior and brush out any dirt that has accumulated in the interior. Once your handbag is cleaned, store your handbag inside its original dust bag flat or upright depending on its shape. Make sure to keep the Moisture Packet provided inside the dust bag in order to keep your handbag dry. When storing your handbag make sure it is away from direct daylight and artificial light, as they can fade the color.
