Cristina Martinez Intarsia Design Cotton & Cashmere Crewneck

I just received this amazing sweater! I normally buy an XL for extra slouchy room, but there were none and noticed that the online photo did look like a loose fit. I ordered the ;arge - and it is perfect! It does not hug the body but is loose and just skims your figure. This is a perfect fit! Although the sleeves are slightly long, the sweater was made to cuff - which I like as most sweaters I normally cuff anyway. The print, although looking quite bold online, is actually more subtle and softer in person - the use of the navy windowpane in the back really works with the grey background on the front. As it is a mix of cotton and cashmere, it is not just for winter and can be worn more months. It is not just for jeans, either! The face reminds me of an abstract art look that is really retro. The style also reminds me of those lovely interesting prints of the early 1990's. I intend to wear it with a navy blazer styled jacket and maybe, later on, with white jeans as well as the regular blue version. It feels delicious, soft, non-itchy, and very cuddly. Although here in the SW, the winters are not long, they are still raw and bite through you making sweaters a necessity. This one perks up the winter blahs and has a real fun print! Also, like the lowered crew neck on the sweater - casual but also can be worn to work with nice navy or grey slacks. A perfect piece - and even at the regular price, not on sale, it is a great addition to any lady's wardrobe! This is a suprise - thought it might look cheap - but looks much more expensive than the price tag! Highly recommend this unusual but classy look.
