Buyer Beware
I bought this dress in 2022 for the reduced price of $29.97. The original price was $50. The description said that there was only one dress left. From 2022 to 2025, three years later, the dress has been continuously offered for sale at the same price of $29.97, reduced fronm $50. The description still says that there is only one dress left. I doubt that an ordinary knit dress, such as this one, could retain its original market value for 3 years.
Selling this dress for three consecutive years at the same supposed sale price of $29.97 reduced from $50, and claiming it is the last one available seems deceitful. I believe this merchandising practice is designed to: create a false impression of scarcity; encourage impulse buying; and, make an illusion of a bargain when there is none.
Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware).
