Night in London 31-Inch High Rise Wide Leg Trouser Jeans

I wish these would have fit me, but they're too long and there's no way to hem. I'm 5'3" and 150 and bought size 8/29. I like that it has a thick elastic band around waist even tho it has zipper. This denim is very heavy and super wide legged so I feel it's better suited for someone 5'5" or taller. Wish description mentioned models height and weight.

I own a boot cut curve appeal jeans and love them. When I saw this I just had to try it. Initially bought a 10. Way too big. Ordered a 6 & 8. The 6 fits tighter but I can still easily get my hands in my waist. The 8 is looser and can get both hands in my waistband. The waistband has a tummy control collar and has stretch. The jeans say 99% cotton and 1% elastane. To me, it has a lot of stretch. For reference I’m 5’7” 162 lbs. overall it’s based on how loose or tight you want your jeans to fit but they are far from true to size.
