Flawed, but not hopeless.
Not as good as they used too be, but still light years better than the new Nova 4 (which are god-awful). The fit was perfectly fine, but the gore-tex in the right shoe squeaked and thumped across the top of the foot with every step in a way that you could feel, not simply hear (hearing gore-tex being pretty standard). Ultimately, they started leaking after 4 months and I donated them (hopefully they ended up in Northern New Mexico as they had tons of wearable life left, but they need to stay dry and have it a bit chilly out). Merrell used to be my go-to...sadly, I can't rely on them anymore.

Best all round shoes
