Alpine 83 Sneaker (Women)

I bought these Merrells in 8.5. I wear 8.5 in Adidas and many brands. I've owned Merrells in the past and they used to run true to size. In recent years, though, they seem to run 1/2 to whole size too small especially their hiking shoes. I had hoped these sneakers would fit true to size. They run narrow & small. I tried them on with thin cotton socks. I'm returning them and hope the 9 might fit.

I've worn these quiet a few times, but only for short period.. This weekend on a Birthday day trip I went to Augusta Ky, and walked around the little town. We went in and out of shops. Our lunch was on the 2nd flour of the restaurant.( I had spinal surgery a few years ago) These shoes have just enough cushion to be comfortable, but nothing too soft. This was my first time buying Merrell Sneakers, but won't be the last. Oh and the patteren is super cute, I've received many compliments on them 😊
