V-Neck Tiered Maxi Dress

I am 5'8" with 38DD chest at 150lbs, but I carry most of my fat around my waist and thighs. I normally wear size medium in dresses so that it was I purchased for this one. To start positive, the print is gorgeous and the length was perfect; it just grazed the floor. The frills towards the bottom were as subtle as they look in the picture. For the negatives. It is NOT a medium, it felt more like a small. It took a while to get it over my head and on my body. Once it was on me, my chest was crushed into the top of the dress. My arms are pretty skinny but the ends of the sleeves seem tight. This was an unfortunate return for me.

Based on the reviews, I went up a size, and glad that I did. It's partially lined which surprised me in a good way. It does have a deep neckline, and a bit too steep for my liking. This can be remedied with tape or extra layer. The print is as pictured, and a real maxi length with my taller height. I purchased on sale, and thought the price was fair.

Black/blue is a beautiful bright print. Waist fits pretty true to size, but the chest is a bit small; I have a shorter torso and found the upper part (above the waist line) to be just a tad short as well as just a tiny bit tight. For reference, I usually wear an 8/10 and 34B/36B. I purchased a medium and large bc of other reviews, and decided do keep the large.

I love this dress - I usually wear around a size 10. I do agree with other reviews about sizing up, but I love the dress. The chest seems to run small, the length was great for me (hits around my ankles). I do wish the fabric was more of a cotton - it had static and clung to my legs upon trying it on. I love that it is very lightweight and good for hot weather. Overall I love it and would recommend it.
