Doesn't Fit Right
I wanted to love this dress but I felt like its more suited for someone with larger breasts as I was swimming in it (I'm a 38D). I am usually a size L and would have sized down to fix the loose top but I don't think it would have made a difference. Also the fabric around my hips/butt was too tight for a smaller size, the skirt part of the dress was to straight which is what might have caused this issue for me.

So much prettier than the photos
I looked at this dress online and dismissed it based on the photos - it just doesn't look great to me. But I saw it in store today (not realizing it was the same dress I'd seen online) tried it on, and bought it. I really like the fit - it's very flattering! I do find it runs a little big. I'm an 8 and the small fit me perfectly. My only complaint is that the deep V is a little more revealing than I'd like, but nothing a tailor can't fix by adding a snap. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this dress.

I have been looking for simple sundresses for summer after gaining too much weight. They all make me look even heavier. This dress hits the mark. Lightweight, fitted at the waist with elastic in the back to accentuate what waist I have right now. As another reviewer said this dress does no justice in pictures until you physically get it on. Also has pockets in the front. For reference I am 5'8" and currently 167lbs. I bought a Med.

pretty cut but the material!?
Yes it’s cut a little bit. It flows nicely. Fits at the waist. Has pockets!! But the material!!!??? It’s a bit itchy for the summer. It is humid today so I think I will try it on again when it’s cooler. Also, it is good for fall and spring so I may keep it but I am looking for a summer material.

A Nice Addition for the Price
I bought both the black and the 'blue' due to the terrific price, the style and the length. I read the many reviews that stated the dress was more of an empire waist. I am 5'6 and 128 lbs with an hourglass shape. Short waisted. So for me the dress torso proportions were excellent. I love the wide shoulders that accentuate the slim waist and smooth waistband. This dress will dress up or down and I plan to wear it many different ways, including with a slim brightly colored belt to accentuate the waist. I gave it a lower rating because the cutting and stitching on the dresses was subpar. I trimmed many threads off and evened the hem as well as I could via ironing. I was able to bring the dress to an acceptable standard by doing that work. I would love to see this exact style of dress in a better fabric with much better construction . . . as it really is a very nice design.
