These might work if you have no curves
Understandably these were going to be a little more snug since they don't have any stretch but these are so off on the sizing. I ordered a 33 (size 16) which should be a little loose on me.. I couldn't even get these over my booty. I have a pretty curvy shape but these are so off on the sizing. Alot of times with denim like this I can get them on but maybe not zipped or buttoned. I couldn't even get them all the way on.

Love these shorts
The shorts look very flattering. I have recently over the last 2 years gained weight. These shorts are perfect though and helps me look decent. The jeans has a little stretch to it.

Sizing seems way off
I purchased my regular size in these - 31 - and they were huge and absolutely hanging off me. I think I would have to go down at least 2 sizes for them to fit. Sizing must be very inconsistent on these, because I read the reviews and was nervous that my regular size would be too small - but it was the total opposite.

Favorite shorts!
I originally sized up one from my normal Madewell size based on other reviews, but had to exchange them for my usual size so they run true to size in my opinion. At 5’10” they are the perfect length, not too long at all, but gives a little bit of coverage which I prefer. My absolute favorite shorts I know I’ll have for a long time!

VERY LONG IF YOU ARE NOT TALL
I'm not too short or tall but these fit down to my knees and look like bermuda shorts. They look okay but I may be returning them.
