Cropped. Fine if you like cropped.
I'm just over 5'7" and found the Medium was cropped. It's a lovely sweater if you're going for that look, but too short for me to feel comfortable wearing it to work, so I returned it. Also, the Gardenia color is not cream so much as pale rose-gold. In the body it's true to size, sleeves are a bit long, but again that's part of the look.

This is a beautiful sweater that I really loved… Except I am 5’2” and the large fit through the body very nicely, and the sleeves needed to be cuffed almost to my ELBOWS!!.. it could not be altered, and so I returned it…
