Stripe Ruffle Tiered Maxi Dress

This dress felt light and cool on despite it's longer length. I checked the tag to see the fabric composition fully expecting it to be largely cotton or some other natural fiber. I was surprised to read it is 80% polyester and only 18% rayon and 2%spandex. It has an almost seersucker feel to it, very pleasant. I thought the overall cut and silhouette was flattering. The ruffle at the arms nicely disguises that bit of flub you might have if you are busty or otherwise chubby. I'm tall with a large bust and it cinched under my bust just above my waist which is a good spot and then relaxed into a forgiving A-line. I am undecided how I feel about the color, which is exactly as shown, very fresh and spring-like. Personally I wish the dress was available with blue or gray stripes which would be more in my comfort zone. I sized up because in past experiences I have found this brand to run a bit small/short and while the bust is perfect I think overall I would benefit from the dress being somewhat more fitted so I may exchange for my usual size 14. The length was good although shorter on me than on the model.
