Turkish Cotton Waffle Terry Robe

The robe is attractive, and I was eager to wash and begin wearing it to replace my old worn-out Hotel Collection Waffle/Terry robe of similar style. After one wash, on delicate and tumble dry low, the robe shrunk quite a bit in length and in width; the lower half of the robe does not wrap around, leaving my lower thighs and legs exposed. The shawl collar is also pretty stiff and doesn't lay down well in back of my neck. I will not wear the robe, not really sure what to do with it even. I've gone back to wearing my old Hotel Collection robe which is at least comfortable to wear, and the fit is still ideal after multiple washings over the years.
