Affordable sophistication
Such a great all-purpose dress, in a beautiful blue color. Just the right balance of tailoring and femininity, with the structured collar but flowy skirt. Flattering to the bustline without being revealing, and the lightweight fabric follows your curves but isn’t too clingy or too full. (I think it’s a great fit for those of us with a slight apple shape, bigger on top but smaller at the bottom.) A slightly vintage feel, which I love. I have a similar RL style in a cream-colored voile, but I prefer this fabric and the surplus cut of the top. Getting it at a great sale price was an added bonus! I will likely order the navy color as well. The one thing I wish was different is the fabric belt - like most of the RH dresses, I wish it was wider and/or had more structure. But that may just be because I don’t have a tiny waist and ideally need a bit of cinching for it to look its best!
