Rainbow glitter...almost
Opalescent is actually accurate, it definitely reminds me of an opal. It is very thin and has colorful sparkles. I think it is kind of trashy looking. I regret buying it.

Pretty, but very sheer
I am a big fan of opalescent/iridescent anything, so this is my jam. That being said, it's very much a "topper" for eyeshadow unless you're going for that barely there look. I find it applies and wears better with the NYX glitter glue primer underneath. No fallout, no caking up, just a lovely shimmery sheen. I have only applied two 'coats' to avoid any building up and possible caking as described by other reviewers.
