Details & care

What it is: A weekly bond repair treatment formulated to restore strength in dry, damaged hair.

Who it's for: All hair types, especially dry, damaged, color-treated and/or chemically treated hair.

What it does: This pH-balanced treatment contains vegan keratin-like protein that helps to seal hair cuticles and repair signs of damage. The solid bar formula helps reduce your use of single-use plastic.

Key ingredients:

- Coconut Oil: locks in moisture to help deeply hydrate your strands from within and reduce breakage for stronger, shinier, healthier-looking hair

- Sunflower Seed Oil: rich in antioxidants; helps bring nutrients to your strands while deeply moisturizing for healthy, hydrated hair

- Baobab Protein: helps hydrate the hair cuticle for a healthier scalp while conditioning and strengthening dry, damaged hair

- Marula Seed Oil: enriched with hair-loving vitamins to help replenish hair with essential moisture for softer, nourished strands

How to use: Once a week in place of conditioner, rub bar between hands and distribute into hair or "paint" on from mid-lengths to ends. Leave in for at least 10 minutes to let vegan proteins and vitamins penetrate stands, then rinse. Finger-comb hair to detangle.

Definitely stops breakage
I really like this conditioner and it has really stopped my hair from breaking as much. I see very little hair in my comb now. I use it on all my hair, not just the middle to ends as instructed but I do only use it once a week. It's a keeper for me.

Unfortunately it didn’t work for me
I bought the rice protein shampoo and conditioner along with this product for my thinning hair. I didn’t get enough detangling from any of the products to use it again. My hair was so hard to comb through that I felt like I was pulling it out worse than before. I wish it would have worked out for me.

Hair Saver
My hair is super long, down to my waist, and as a result, the ends are hard to keep moisturized and happy. I got this as part of my first order, and will never be without going forward. It helps keep my hair healthy and happy when I use it regularly.

Amazing
I absolutely đź’Ż love this hair mask, it only takes 10 min and afterward my hair feels amazing and so soft, I am actually able to run my fingers through my hair without it knotting up, and I love the smell of it, and noticed results fairly quickly.

So smooth!
While kitsch makes other items that smell better than the hair mask, the quality is never disappointing. This made my hair feel so hydrated and soft! My ends were feeling crusty to the point I was thinking it was time for a trim; but I used this and no longer feel that way :) hooray to going longer between cuts for hair growth!

Best hair mask ever
I got this to try as a detox for my hair. I don’t know why I haven’t tried it earlier. I use it once a week per the directions. Then I wash as normal using the rice water shampoo bar. My hair feels amazing.
