Targhee II Waterproof Hiking Shoe (Men)

I am appreciative that they are now water proof as I live in Seattle and walk my dog daily, rain or shine. The one thing that every pair of Keen’s I’ve owned have in common and I wish could be addressed, is that the laces being used stretch out with use. I’ve had other similar brands/styles and their laces don’t seem to stretch out like Keen’s. Other than that “issue” I love mine and just cut the laces if they get too long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn these boots all over the U. S. , from the Knobstone Trail in Indiana to Fairytale Falls in Yellowstone, Wyoming. These boots are awesome. I’ve put over 200 miles in them across some pretty rough terrain and they perform well. I like the tread on them, it’s best for dirt/mud, and the waterproofing is great, assuming you don’t go too deep and it comes in from the top. They are very comfortable and I have less issued with getting blisters in these compared to other hiking boots. I prefer the low Target II’s over the Targhee IV’s. They seem to have a different sole, but I’ve had nothing but success with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third pair of the Targhee ll. My first pair have over a 1000 miles on them & still are in wearable shape. The only issue I've had with this model is some minor tread issues. This model is a better fit for my foot than the newer models of Keen shoes.
