large margaux leather satchel

I bought this for 3 reasons: 1. It was a heck of a deal 2. 2. I love Kate spade and love the color pink 3. I needed a functional purse that could double as a work travel bag for my laptop and iPad. So it was a bit smaller than I expected but truth be told you didn’t pay much attention to the dimensions. It fits the iPad perfectly and I could even put the laptop in as well, it would just have to be length wise and would stick out of the top. I’m just not a fan of bags that look like work bags, nor do I like big bags. The think I love about this is there is a pretty long attachable strap so I can wear it as a cross body. I’m normally a smaller crossbody kind of a girl but this will work well (although not perfectly) for my intended purpose of work travel. I was considering returning but the slightly smaller size isn’t a deal breaker for me and the purse is nice enough for me to make it work. I showed a picture with my iPad next to it for scale and then with what I carry inside - just my wallet, cell phone, a notebook and iPad, and you can see there is more room left over if needed. The first picture lighting is really bad so don’t think that’s the actual color. The second picture- which is a softer pink is accurate of the color.

This is the perfect weekday purse for running between work, kids activities, and all the rest. Plenty of room for all your things (plus some of your kids things.) Sturdy yet not too heavy. The leather is beautiful. Zipper and clasps all seem to work well. I love the charm on the side. I’ve been using this bag for about a week and have no complaints.
