Tie Waist Midi Dress

It is a nice, lightweight fabric but very wrinkly. I am concerned that I would make it wrinkly every time I sat or moved. It is a nice neutral color and based in the Nordstrom pics/video is accurate color in person. I am around 5’5 and this is a bit too long on me. I would need to get it hemmed and as another reviewer mentioned, the elastic (or whatever) around the waist (bow area) is very itchy. I didn’t like that and would need to get it replaced with something else. Due to the hem, elastic, and the material, this dress is more edits/maintenance to make it work than I wanted to do. I most likely will return because for the price, I want it work off the rack with the exception if hemming. It doesn’t do that for me.

This dress is so flattering! It’s conservative enough for the office or church, but still cute for parties or brunch. It does run a tad big, so if you’re between sizes I would size down. I’m typically an 8/10 with 34G (4D) bra size and the 8 fit perfectly (not tight - the buttons do not pull at the chest!) The skirt is A-line so it flows nicely over curves. My only complaint is that the elastic at the back is a little scratchy, but a light slip takes care of that.

I love this dress! The fit is flattering and the color is the perfect shade of neutral green. We had a family photo session and it paired perfectly with cream, khaki, and taupe. Note: it runs big. I normally wear a size 8 dress and originally purchased a size 6. I ended up returning that dress and ordering a size 4. Perfect fit.
