too stiff and uncomfortable
As a nurse, have many Hoka shoes running shoes and love them . But this waterproof hiking shoes is a big disappointment. It’s very stiff around the upper part of my feet , and the back of it is too high. I got blisters from wearing them at work for 8 hours. Not worth the money

Flat Feet, torn ligament in arch, torn MCL
I have not had a comfortable supportive shoe since my MCL injury in 2018. I tore a ligament/tendon in my foot a few years later. I only wore Brooks before this shoe. I did NOT like Hoka's design and felt .. "oh okay here is an another sneaker company attempting to convert someone".
I was wrong, glad my pediatrist recommended this shoe, glad I found it at the Nordstrom Rack store 2 days later!!! I wore these shoes walking around Mexico and on the plane, comfortable all day. Only took these off when I felt like my feet needed to breathe. I wish these were not just a hightop option. I would buy more. I bought the purple color not the bellwether blue.
