Try on before paying high price for running shoes.
not as comfortable as a cheap pair of new balance and I don't think the support is that good either. Wish I could have tried them on before buying them (online order)

Runs small and not cushioned
I was super excited to find a water proof version of my Hoka Bondi 7s. However these are nowhere near as comfortable as the Bondis and much stiffer. The vibram lug sole is much harder than other hokas. They also seem to run narrow. These were designated as 11 "D" which I assume means "D" width. My Bondi 7s had no such designation, so I am not sure which width in Hokas is best for me. I would definitely try these before purchasing.

Hoka 9.5 unusually oversized and heavy
I am an exact 9.5 size, D width and the shoe is way oversized. I own 6 pairs of Hoka shoes and never had one that was so heavy and so oversized. Unfortunately I wore it outside a couple of times and probably can't return it.

painfully uncomfortable
Bought for my husband, took him to 5 mile hike and the shoes blister both his feet by the upper arch of the feet. I was so disappointed I own Hoka and love the, but his are so bad he refuses to wear them again.
