Pricey but worth it
I only bought these on Dr.’s orders. I was having problems with my feet. I am on them all day. They are pretty comfy and definitely give a lot of support. I normally wouldn’t spend this much for a work shoe. But I’m glad I did. So far they’ve been worth it.

These are my first pair of Hoks’s. I’ve been looking at them for years. They’re amazingly comfortable. I work 12 hour shifts on my feet all day. It feels like walking on clouds!

No ankle support
I typically wear Brooks but needed new running/gym shoes and took a chance on these based on the positive reviews. Although they definitely fit me and were the correct size, by design, they sit lower than normal around my ankle. No matter how I tied them, I could not get them tight enough. Not sure if that's the norm for Hoka or with these particular model. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them for any activity, not even walking/standing.
