Nash Calfskin Leather Crossbody Bag

I love everything about this bag, it is the perfect size, surprisingly roomy and has an exterior open pocket that looks like it would be perfect for a phone. But, like other reviewers have said, the strap is just insanely long! And, while it appears to be able to be shortened by a notch or two, I cannot manage to get the strap off the prongs that hold it to even try to move it. Even if I could, the strap would still be ridiculously long. This really should be made with two strap options or a clever way to thread the strap through a double it up for a shorter and dressier look. I am so torn whether to keep this or return it as everything else is perfection.
