Stretch Supima^® Cotton French Briefs

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect underwear and sadly these aren’t it. I find the lace to be slightly itchy, and worst of all, I’m constantly pulling the waistband up because it folds over whenever I do something crazy, like sit down. If you have a completely flat tummy, they might work for you. I could probably size down but then the itch and wedge factors go up. Too bad because I like the cotton, the absence of lace around the legs and that they’re made in the USA.

I’ve been a die-hard Natori Bliss fan for at least a decade. I tried these Hanky Panky briefs on a whim and they’re easily my new favorites. The material holds my tummy in ever so slightly. The lace on the top is wider and sturdier than the lace on the Natoris; it contributes to the light support these panties provide. They don’t ride up in the back or slide down in the front. They’re almost French cut because the leg openings are a bit higher than what you find in Natori’s briefs. This means they don’t look like “granny panties.” Yay! I’ve machine washed them in cold water on delicate in a mesh laundry bag and dried them flat. They clean up beautifully. I hope Hanky Panky will eventually make these in more colors and prints. I wear a US size 16-18. The XL fits perfectly.

Dare I say that I have been wearing these French Briefs in black and chai since Covid 19? At $20 a pair, I thought the price was outrageous. Nonetheless, they stayed up over my 50+ tummy bulge and did not bind. Now at $34 pair, I cringe! But there is nothing else like it in the marketplace. The lace band on me is slightly below the waist, but not a bikini. Thankfully! The higher-cut legs are modestly sexy. For me, cotton and modal blends or nylon blends cause perspiration in the nether regions. I am hoping that the Norstrom Buyer can repeat the Anniversary Sale Multiple 3-pack buy. They sold out immediately. Thank you, Nordstrom. Washing on the gentle cycle, and air drying helps sustain them.
