Print Smocked Waist Chiffon Midi Dress

Now that Nordstrom doesn’t offer much clothing in petite sizes, I often try a regular size that looks like it will work. This is easier with tops but it didn’t work at all with this dress. The color/print and the fabric are lovely but the style is rather frumpy. Even though I got my regular size — I’m usually a 2-4 — it was big in every way. The gathering at the waist hung down on my hips, the shoulders were big, and the length, which should have been midi, came nearly to my ankles. So I’d say stay away from this one if you are below average height or narrow in the shoulders.
