The strap snaps
This is a lovely chunky watch that has a silicone strap that snaps. Once the strap snaps and breaks , the watch is done.

Silicone breaks down in humidity
Had this watch for 4 years of nearly daily use in cool, arid Colorado climate. Then a wore it on a cycling trip in Thailand and it broke in 2 weeks. Google how to care for silicone bands and keep dry if you buy. Replacement straps are like $200.
