Dolman Elbow Patch High/Low Sweater

I love the Go Couture brand, but sadly, this shirt didn’t work out for me. I’m a 36DD & wear sizes 12 to 14, depending on the brand. I ordered this in a size large & I think this runs true to size. The material is so soft, cozy & comfortable, however it was not flattering on me in the least. I believe the fit was off because of the long slits on the sides? I think maybe the slits on the sides push the front of the shirt out, which makes my waist & hips look enormous? There’s just something about the shape and/or cut of this top that makes it so unflattering on me. Thankfully my husband is very honest with me when I ask how something looks on me & he agreed with me that it added “bulk” & was just all around unflattering on me. I really wish I knew how to explain the fit & exactly why it was so unflattering so that whoever reads this could have a better understanding of what I’m trying to say, I’m just not sure how to say it. It may just be one of those pieces that would look amazing on a smaller person? I just know that it didn’t look good on me at all. I really wish it did look good on me though, because it truly is so soft & cozy.

I truly love this sweater and am surprised at the negative reviews. Yes, it's boxy, but because the material is lightweight, it drapes nicely and forms to the body. On me, it looks just like the photo--and trust me, I do *not* have her body. This is the perfect top for leggings because of the length.
