Olive Triple Fleece Original Capelet

I was unsure how I would like this. I do not typically like boxy, loose, shapeless style tops. I unwrapped it and immediately thought it would need to go back, however, after trying on with several other items, I have to say I like it. I will wear as a topper most likely. Particularly for travel with the F&E Catherine sweatpants as well as the F&E Tulip pant (now retired) , and with the Donegal skirt and with jeans. I have tried it partially ti led as well as just loose. I especially like it over a button up with a popped collar. I have a lot of upcoming travel plans and I plan to wear this a lot on chilly airplanes and then remove and place inside my carryon. I would be able to wear without a top underneath, but some may need a top to avoid bra visibility. It looks good this way too and would be a good warm weather alternative I do think Frank & Eileen is very expensive. This is the biggest drawback but all the items I have purchased I wear a lot. The fleece washes well and comes out looking ready to wear, which I appreciate. I would agree it is not the softest fleece, but that may be part of why it holds up so well and looks crisp as opposed to sloppy. I strive for a casual and classic minimalist look and some structure is necessary to achieve that look. As it is so difficult to find flattering clothing for the over 40 crowd, I will continue to purchase F&E. I prefer to purchase from Nordstrom, but I also have bought from other vendors as well as F&E. 34dd, 5’4”, 143 lbs. usually a Medium top and a 28 jeans (AG)
