The Charles Trench Coat

There’s a reason this coat is so heavily discounted and on final sale. The quality is just not what you’d expect from favorite daughter – though maybe this is the new norm. Fabric quality is questionable, construction is poor, and fit is way off. The coat is huge. I would definitely not recommend or re-purchase.

I could not be any more disappointed with the quality of this product. The buttons are falling off after just 2 months of normal wear. The cut and seaming, and body design is low-quality. This is completely unacceptable for the price point, which in other brands of similar price have such higher quality workmanship. Absolutely unethical and unconscionable. That's what I get for giving this brand a try.

This trench is a classic that will never go out of style, is fully lined and is a longer length which is hard to find but boy does it run large. I’m usually a small or a medium but I sized down because of the reviews and got an XS. I was still swimming in it. I was so sad that Nordstrom doesn’t carry it in the XXS as the color night sky is perfect - a midnight navy that reads almost black. Sadly, I had to return it due to the size issue.
