If you have a long torso, this is your dress.
I am small on top with a long torso and larger hips than my waist. I’m 5’3” and my inseam is 27” if that gives you an idea of my proportions! I love this dress because I have a long torso and it fits me perfectly. I might just buy any other dresses that Farm Rio puts out in this shape! I love it. I don’t know if it necessarily runs small, maybe a LITTLE, but it definitely has a certain shape in mind.

Weirdest fit of any dress I've tried on
The reviews had indicated that this dress has a really weird fit. I was hopeful but it is true so returning. You need to have a long torso to wear this because the top of the skirt hits right at the top of your hip or you'll have to order a larger size. But if you do, the top is going to be too large unless you really have boobs to fill it out. Really strange fit. I'm a size 8 - 10 and ordered a L - didn't work at all. I don't think this dress works unless you are thin like the model and the dress can just hang off you. I gave it a 2 star because the quality of the material is good and the print is beautiful.

beautiful but reluctantly had to return
The sizing is very odd. Took my usual size, was super tight through the middle but the straps were WAY too long. Just didn’t sit right on my body and if I size up the length and straps will be too far off. So disappointed.

I made the mistake of listening to the reviews saying it ran super small in order to size up. Big mistake. It was huge on me. I should’ve ordered my true size or even a smaller size. Now it’s out of stock and I can’t get it for my event. I am so disappointed. Order your true size

Runs large
I was a bit disappointed with the sizing. I’m quite athletic and chose a medium based on reviews saying the dress runs large, but I found the opposite to be true—it was quite baggy on top and around the waist. If you’re smaller on top than on the bottom, I’d recommend sizing down. That said, the pattern and material are beautiful. Just wish the small was still in stock!
