Pocket Detail Sheath Dress

This seemed like the answer to my prayers. It is almost impossible to buy a dress these days that doesn't have ruffles, puff sleeves or is either too short or too long for someone who is over 30 and working in a professional setting. I loved the color and the fit was perfect, but the slit in the front is completely misplaced. With every step you take with your right leg it is almost totally exposed and sitting down without showing things you don't want to show is virtually impossible. The slit should be in the back.

I was really hoping to love this dress as I bought it in the merlot color. The material and fit were great, but unfortunately, the slit was too high to be appropriate for the office. Even if I had the slit sewed up some, the bottom of the dress would then be too tight around the bottom when I sat down. I am 5'11' for reference, so this doesn't work for tall girls.

The material of this dress is nice and thick for those cold days in the office, but if you are thicker around the hips and thighs like I am, it will fit very snug and might need to go the next size up. Otherwise, it looks true to size for slender figures. A size 12 is my go to size for dresses but I have a feeling if I go the next size up, it will look too baggy everywhere else, so I will just return.
