Not what i was expecting
In fairness, I purchased an Eliza J dress last year that was a similar cut to this one, so I ignored the pattern on this dress, thinking it was boucle like the other. I was wrong. The pattern on this dress is an unattractive flower pattern similar to your great-grandmother's living room curtains. It's matronly, and the material is thin with no lining. Disappointed and definitely returning.

Great for a night out
This dress fits me well, and is a very dark green. It works as well for a little black dress, it's so hard. I like the fit and flare design. The material is embossed with lovely slightly raised designs, giving it a subtle texture.
