This looks better in person. Currently, I am a size medium and that is what I purchased. If fits nicely. I am also 5'5 and weigh 159, although I recently gained an extra 9 pounds that I'm working on losing. I believe I will have to re-nogiate the size and will be able to get away with a small, but i think i still can get away with wearing the medium and will keep it..
