Stretch Crepe Slim Ankle Pants

The Eileen Fisher Crepe Slim Ankle Pants in Midnight are comfortable, attractive, easy care, go anywhere, every day staple. I am 5'9" and about 150. Size small fits as expected in this brand. The length is perfect for spring. They are truly ankle length on me. I am particularly happy because Nordstrom Rack offered an excellent price and I was able to grab the Eileen Fisher long straight unltrafine merino wool sweater in midnight to coordinate. The quality and prices make these a steal. Combined with the EF silk shells in various colors I can dress in a blink while looking good all day long.... with no ironing and no dry cleaning bills.

I thought the Stretch Crepe Slim Ankle Pants would meet my expectations. Sadly, these pants disappointed me, and burst my bubble. The label lists the materials as follows: 70% viscose, 24% nylon, and 6 % spandex. All these materials are known to be soft, lightweight and very gentle on the skin. The Stretch Crepe Slim Ankle Pants are in no way soft or gentle on the skin. They were incredibly itchy. If any article of clothing is not soft or gentle on the skin, it's an automatic return. I'd rate these pants with no stars, but the option is not provided.
