Narrow calf
I wanted to love these boots as I have the lower version. I do not consider myself to have large calves and have never had to buy wide calf boots but I could barely get these zippered and they pinched my calves so much that they were cutting off circulation to my foot causing it to go numb. Otherwise the boots are gorgeous and the leather is amazing. Unfortunately, these will be returned.

This is not leather; false info
I quickly noticed it is not leather and tag did not specify it either. Generally if it is indeed leather, they will proudly show it in the inside tag. Not so. Also hardware is too big and shiny

Leather boot for skinny calves and delicate ankles
I have small ankles and calves so finding boots that don't look like galoshes is a trial. These could even be smaller at the top, but with the taper at the ankle they look sleek on my legs. The leather isn't thin so it will hold up. Sole is comfortable. The color is a nice surprise, I had wanted the black boots but my size wasn't available so I got the brown. The color is a brown/black, so deep it will easily go with my black clothes. I think they would be tight if I had normal calves or strong ankles.

Fashion and comfort in one boot
These are beautiful boots. I'm older and need arch support so I like to buy Ecco and these did not disappoint. The leather is soft and the insole has nice support. I wear a size 8 1/2 and bought an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. My daughters gave their seal of approval and said they look cool. I'm looking forward to wearing these all winter as they go with everything.
