Runs large, but great skirt
I love this brand! The skirt does run quite large, so I ordered a medium instead of a large, and the medium is almost too big. The side pockets are nice, but the top "flaps" serve no purpose and only make me look wider, so I took the skirt to an alterations place to have them removed.

WAY Too Big
I love Democracy but their sizing is all over the map. Sometimes the waist is so small that I have to go up two sizes from the last pair of Democracy pants that I bought. This time the Large was so big that I 'm fairly certain it would fit me if I was pregnant with triplets. I'm bad about returning things (I never found the time) but I wish I had as it nearly falls off of me when I wear it. I love the ruched waist but I'm obviously going to have to find a way to bring it in. Wearing a belt over the top helps but takes away from the casual utility style.
