I didn't need a wide... returning for smaller size
I describe myself as a M+ width person... most of the time medium width shoes fit, but sometimes they don't. I bought this is a wide, so that I could wear comfy cotton athletic socks with them. I did not need to size up with this boot - a 11M would have been fine. The wide was very wide on me, to the point that the leather buckled in on itself because I didn't have enough foot to fill its form. If I had liked this boot, I would have reordered in 11M.
I thought the leather was vinyl at first, because it is very soft, pliable, and smooth to the touch -- but the tag inside says leather upper! The bling isn't silver, it's dark gray, just like the photo.
I deducted -1 star because of the winter fabric lining. I should have read the description closer... it says textile lining, but this is a "winter" textile lining... it's that nylon thermal foam-backed material that is comfy, but intended to keep your feet super warm. I have plenty of winter boots... I wanted a Fall leather boot that I could wear with leggings and skirts in 60 degree weather... my feet would burn up in these. But if you're looking for a chic winter boot, this one is pretty cool!
