I love 'em.
Bought a pair of these to try them out and so far I love them. They're more comfortable to wear all day than regular Chucks, and the insoles can be swapped out for different ones. The canvas feels stronger, the soles are thicker, one thing I noticed immediately is there's none of that fuzzy stuff like on the regulars and when walking on stuff like gravel, I'll barely feel the rocks as I step on them. Other than that, I don't think I'm going back with regular Chucks, these Chuck 70's are goated.

UNCOMFORTABLE
I have owned converse for literally most of my life. The last pair I bought had plastic pieces that cut through the fabric on the back of the heel which caused me to order a new pair. When I bought the new pair, the same exact discomfort and rubbing even though the plastic piece was still in the fabric. Highly unsatisfied.

I'm Ambivalent
I don't see much of a difference between the Converse Chuck 70 sneakers and the regular Converse sneakers. But I think the overall quality of the Chuck it's are good I will recommend the Chuck 70's for wear to the cinema or to a restaurant or to school, but I don't know whether I can recommend the Chuck 70's for wear every day.

Love the wide size option
Converse historically runs one size small. I typically wear a 11.5 wide but a 10.5 wide fits perfect for me. I love the fact that you can get wide sizes in select colors.
The chuck 70’s are so much more substantial than the standard chucks.

Unbelievably uncomfortable.
I’ve been wearing the classics for years. Decided to give these a try and I’m very disappointed. The fit is larger than the originals, and the “better quality” materials are just thicker, stiffer, and way more uncomfortable. Not a fan of these at all. I will be returning these and just buying the OG’s instead. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Old School Cool
These are the Chuck's I remember from my 1970s childhood. These are very well made. I love them!
